ARRA committees serve the organization by addressing challenges issues, developing member programs and services, and providing recommendations on policy positions and organizational matters for the Board of Directors and Membership. Committee chairs are appointed by the Board. All ARRA members are encouraged to join and participate in the committees to help further ARRA’s mission.
Communications committee
Oversees communication for the organization to media and membership.
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
Develops ARRA’s policy positions on local, state and federal issues, policies, legislation and regulations affecting concessionaires and the aviation industry. The committee provides liaison with government officials and agencies, other aviation and transportation trade groups, and airport operators to promote government policies and legislation that support and advance concessionaires and the airport/aviation industry.
Topics COMMITTEE
Identifies and examines current and emerging issues and trends affecting airport concessionaires and the business environment they operate in. The committee conducts analysis and research, prepares reports and studies, and develops recommendations and policies for the Board and membership.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Responsible for the review and approval of applicants, the retention of existing members and the recruitment of new members.
